Nikola Tesla is renowned for making your hair stand on end with his invention of a Tesla Electrical generator. He designed this generator in the 1880s and gave birth the alternating current (AC power) we use nowadays. Ten years later he was working away at a completely new generator that he believed would use little or no fuel.

There are many components to a tesla generator, or fuelless energy device or free power generator. Nikola Tesla began with harnessing a natural energy source, the sun. He used a particle collector to gather particles thrown off by the radiant energy of the sun. This sounds quite a bit like solar energy and could most certainly be compared to it. A patent for his design was filed for and awarded in November 1901.

He next turned to the turbine since he would need a way to extract the power he had collected. This resulted in yet another patent which was awarded in 1913. He has yet another patent granted for a very similar piece of equipment the very same year referred to as a Dynamo Electric Machine. We also use dynamos in the present day.

His next puzzle piece for the generator originated from a Unipolar Dynamo, unlike the Faraday disk generator which is bipolar or using two poles the unipolar is easier and uses an individual pole design.

These designes were considered to be Tesla’s first for creating and making free electricity that doesn’t require a fuel resource. This machine appeared around 1889. Tesla believed that his design, unlike Faraday’s, could well be self-sustaining and quite possibly even enhance the current and electrical power available.
Tesla was certainly not the only person working on electricity and worked with such scientists as Thomas Edison and Faraday and Linde. Tesla used Linde’s combined with Faraday’s design to inspire his own. He applied an electromagnetic coil in his unipolar dynamo which was a bigger disc, separating the disc to provide more surface area. This design allowed an increase in current to be created and maintained.

Linde contributed to Tesla’s achievements by giving him the condenser. This conduit assisted in cooling down the water that was used in the actual turbine. The water is transformed into gas and as a consequence less energy is actually consumed than released by the device. Tesla recognized that there were imperfections in his design, water would always enter into the machine, but with any output of the device being in excess of the intake this seemed like an ideal trade off for the best outcomes. The condenser converts the gases back to a liquid to continue the actual cycle.

Tesla was going to take advantage of the energy held in the layers between the earth and upper atmosphere. The sun in his mind was positively powered ball of electric current with the planet being it’s complete opposite.
